Originally from Philadelphia, Pastor Dave came to know the Lord during his freshman year at Drexel University. Upon graduating, he worked as an IT consultant for several years.

In 2004, he relocated to Atlanta as part of a planting team and it was there that he went into full time ministry and served as an associate pastor. At the end of 2012, Dave moved to North Carolina to plant Journey Community Church. He is married to Helen (also known as Pie) and they have three beautiful daughters Cara, Phoebe and Ruth. He received his Master of Divinity at Columbia International University in South Carolina.
